Aww, nice picture of Elliott (by Marina Chavez)....It's now a cliche how tormented they were (ho, ho! mental illness, SO FUNNY) but you never, OK, I never, realized how few pictures there are of him -- and Kurt Cobain too -- really smiling. And I love the big blank space above him, too, like a heaven, and the pack of Camels, the stained curb, the bunny-tied laces.
